Private Pay is a great option for those who do not want a formal diagnosis or documentation that is traceable by insurance companies. If you or a close family member has a security clearance, this may be a helpful option to keep anonymity. Based on your insurance plan, they can often limit the amount of sessions you can have, this can be avoided by paying out of pocket. Private pay allows us to serve you best for your needs. Some insurances do not cover certain diagnoses or interventions. If you are curious if this applies to you, please reach out to your insurance company directly.

VA Community Care Referrals can be made through your VA Care Coordinator. Please provide your coordinator with the clinicians NPI #- 1447873823. From there, a referral will be sent via email and someone will reach out to you for booking.

Insurance
It is recommended, you can call your insurance provider to understand your outpatient mental health benefits per your specific plan. It typically takes insurance 30-60 days to process claims.

Any billing information provided by Making Waves is considered a courtesy and all questions should be directed to your insurance provider.
All co-payments, co-insurances, and deductibles are due at the time of service by cash or credit/debit card. It is required that all of our client's have a card on file for these payments. Any no show/late cancellation payments will not be billed to your insurance company.

TRICARE PRIME WILL NEED A REFERRAL FROM A PCP.

No Show/Late Cancellation
Please provide a 24 hour notice to cancel your appointment. Appointments cancelled or no shown within 24 hour period will be charged the full out of pocket session rate. Unfortunately, Late cancellations fee's are not billable to your insurance company.

Repeated cancellations means removal from the schedule and Making Waves reserves the right to waive fees at our discretion.

If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you will be charged as a late cancellation.

Limited Sliding Scale spots are available upon request. Sliding Scale rates are based upon a range set by the clinician.
